Day 1: Kigali City– Ruhengeri-Kinigi

When you arrive at Kanombe International Airport, you are received by our driver guide and then driven to your hotel. This 2 hours drive takes you through the marvellously terraced undulating countryside of Rwanda to Ruhengeri the base of trekking and tracking of the Gorillas in Rwanda. Brief stop by the way are provided for taking photographs. Overnight at Gorilla Nest (Full Board)

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park Rwanda

Get an early morning breakfast, then followed by a drive to Kinigi park headquarters for group, guide allocation and briefing. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins. Hiking, trekking and tracking gorillas may take 2-3 hours. Sight and stay with the Gorillas for one hour. Descend to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Lakes Burela and Ruhondo. Return to Gorilla Nest for Overnight (Full Board). Visiting the lakes is possible if visitors finish tracking on time at no additional expenditure.

Day 3: Ruhengeri - Kigali-Home

After breakfast drive to Kigali. Have a city tour followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you are driven to Kanombe Airport for your departure flight.
